Creating descriptive categories and filenames for the documents on your website can not only help you keep your site better organized, but it could also lead to better crawling of your documents by search engines. Also, it can create easier, "friendlier" URLs for those that want to link to your content.

Visitors may be intimidated by extremely long and cryptic URLs that contain few recognizable words.

URLs like these can be confusing and unfriendly. Users would have a hard time reciting the URL from memory or creating a link to it. Also, users may believe that a portion of the URL is unnecessary, especially if the URL shows many unrecognizable parameters. They might leave off a part, breaking the link.

Some users might link to your page using the URL of that page as the anchor text. If your URL contains relevant words, this provides users and search engines with more information about the page than an ID or oddly named parameter would.

Google is good at crawling all types of URL structures, even if they're quite complex, but spending the time to make your URLs as simple as possible for both users and search engines can help.

•   Use words in URLs - URLs with words that are relevant to your site's content and structure are friendlier for visitors navigating your site. Visitors remember them better and might be more willing to link to them.

Avoid:

•   using lengthy URLs with unnecessary parameters and session IDs

If you do find that people are accessing the same content through multiple URLs, setting up a 301 redirect from non-preferred URLs to the dominant URL is a good solution for this.

Avoid:

Make use of the "description" meta tag

利用”描述” meta標籤

A page's description meta tag gives Google and other search engines a summary of what the page is about.  Whereas a page's title may be a few words or a phrase, a page's description meta tag might be a sentence or two or a short paragraph.

一個網頁中名為描述的meta標籤給予Google和其它搜尋引撆一個關於這個頁面的摘要. 有鑑於頁面的標題只能有幾個字或是片語, 頁面的描述meta標籤可以是一、二個句子或短文.

Google Webmaster Tools provides a handy content analysis section that'll tell you about any description meta tags that are either too short, long, or duplicated too many times (the same information is also shown for <title> tags). Like the <title> tag, the description meta tag is placed within the <head> tag of your HTML document.

Description meta tags are important because Google might use them as snippets for your pages. Note that we say "might" because Google may choose to use a relevant section of your page's visible text if it does a good job of matching up with a user's query.

A title tag tells both users and search engines what the topic of a particular page is. The <title> tag should be placed within the <head> tag of the HTML document. Ideally, you should create a unique title for each page on your site.

一個標題標籤告訴使用者跟搜尋引擎這個頁面的主題是什麼.

If your document appears in a search results page, the contents of the title tag will usually appear in the first line of the results (If you're unfamiliar with the different parts of a Google search result, you might want to check out the anatomy of a search result video by Google engineer Matt Cutts, and this helpful diagram of a Google search results page.)

Search engine optimization is often about making small modifications to parts of your website.

POWER: 蛇吞象 P4 300W MODEL: GS-300W-2002-15

9/16 日開機, 開機登入, 待機20分鐘後, 回到房間, 發覺整間房間都是燒焦味, 電腦已自動關機.
拆開電腦, 主機板並無異樣, 把目標轉往 POWER, 拆開 POWER, 發現有燒焦痕跡, 且電容有爆漿
痕跡, 判斷用了 5 年的 POWER 掛了.

9/17 日上 Yahoo 跟 Pchome 找尋 power, 鎖定對象為蛇吞象, 台達電, 七盟這 3 種 POWER,
由於我的主機板是 asus p4p800, 上面的電源插座是 20pin 跟 4pin 的, 所以必需選擇符合此
插座的 POWER, 且因考量地理因素, 需在住家附近, 有問題時可隨時殺去店家.

9/18 日至小婷的店下單採購"七盟 350W 12V V2.0版/12cm風扇"的 POWER, 花了 1180 元,
比網路上其它賣家多出 80 元的價差, 不過因為就在我家附近, 因地利因素勝出, 拿回家把
 POWER 裝好, 開機竟然螢幕全黑, 慘了, 這是我最不願見到的狀況, 主機板可能也掛了, 觀察到
開機時, 在 CPU 旁的電容跟3顆銅線非常的燙, 不知是何緣故, 目前請求救援中.

9/20 試著幫CPU擦了散熱膏, 目前情況是, POWER 通電後, CPU 跟 CPU 旁邊的銅線跟電容爆熱, 才一通電就非常燙手, 且發出高頻類似"吱"的聲音, 會不會是 CPU 陣亡了? 只能想辦法把零件帶到公司一個一個測了. 前置的測試步驟如下

1. 將所有裝置移除, 僅留下 CPU 及 RAM, 及顯示卡, 電源接通後, 螢幕全黑, 並無顯示任何畫面.
2. 將所有裝置移除, 且顯示卡亦移除, 電源接通後, 亦無發出幾長幾短的錯誤音.
3. 將所有裝置移除, 且顯示卡亦移除, RAM 也移除, 亦無發出幾長幾短的錯誤音.

9/22 CPU 及 RAM 帶到公司做測試, CPU 跟 RAM 都是正常的, 所以的確是主機板出了問題, 網路上查資料, 準備將主機板送到華碩皇家俱樂部維修.

9/25 將主機板送到板橋的皇家俱樂部去, 內部裝簧得還蠻不錯的, 得先抽號碼牌等候叫號, 有設置書報雜誌閱讀區, 亦有茶水提供, 可以坐著悠閒的等待叫號. 小姐登記了聯絡方式及主機板的故障情況後, 做了部分說明, 若檢測無誤, 酌收檢測費用 300 元, 若有問題則修好收 850 元, 另外有提到一個沒備料的問題, 我忘了問, 若沒料也收我 300 元? 預計 2 ~ 14 個工作人日會有消息, 現在就只能等待了.

10/01 皇家工程師 CALL 我, 說明 P4P800 主機板, 南橋晶片燒掉, 沒料可換, 回皇家取回主機板, 不需付額外費用, 殘念, 要換板子了, 仍想換 P4P800, 原有的 478 CPU 跟 1.5G RAM 可繼續用, 且不需重新做些其它設定, 上 Y 拍找二手主機板去.

10/18 在 Y 拍找到一家離家近的 P4P800 二手主機板, [優比主機板 P4-800外頻] 華碩 P4P800 支援SATA/AGP 8X/雙通道(直購免運費), 原價 1500 元, 自取扣 100 元, 壞掉的 P4P800 抵 100, 1300 元成交, 今天取回並安裝完畢, 目前正常服役中.

既然此次的主題是小筆電大比拼, 當然不能錯過這次的主角, 低價小筆電囉, 拍了幾張各位參考一下(由於拍照技術大差, 有幾張相片慘不忍睹, 就不貼出來傷害大家的眼睛了).

我的機型是 X61-CW9
在 Vista SP1 剛出來時, 由於做 windows update 並未找到, 所以自行下載了 SP1 來安裝,
安裝結束後, 使用約一週並未出現任何異常.

在一週後的某天, 開機出現安裝 driver 的訊息, 一直重覆安裝不同硬體的 driver, 一直重新啟動,
最後, 所有的 driver 都安裝完畢, 無線網路的裝置有問題, 且有線也連不上網,
最後, 只能恢復出廠值, 再重新安裝軟體.

推測, 安裝 SP1 沒問題, 但因 X61 有設定 system update 的自動更新, 或許是因為先裝了 SP1,
之後的 System Update 搞的鬼.

今日, 打電話給聯想的客服, 詢問關於 Vista SP1 的問題, 得到的回應如下:

1. MS 的網頁上註明, vista sp1 無法使用 Windows Update 直接更新, 要手動下載更新
2. 在 lenovo 的維修記錄中, 無法做 SP1 僅跟音效卡的 Driver 有關
3. X61 的使用者, 並無反應無法更新 SP1 的問題

這幾個回應對我來說, 不能解決我的問題, 我也將我的情形告知客服, 給他們做個參考.

接下來, 做了個實驗

1. 先做 R&R 備份
2. 做 system update, 取得更新項目, 把"重要更新項目","建議更新項目"全都安裝
3. 做 Windwos update, 仍看不到 Vista SP1
4. 暫時放棄上 Vista Sp1

在 Mobile01 上也有人遇到相同的問題, 各位可以參考看看.

 最近冰箱發出吵人的怪聲音, 特別把一些觀察記錄下來

1. 冰箱規格:

2. 找尋怪聲發出的地方, 聲音自冰箱後方傳出



3. 發現是化霜定時器發出聲音, 動手拆卸, 拆卸前請先拔掉電源.



4. 聲音由化霜定時器發出, 細部拆解, 查看發出聲音的源頭




5. 聲音由這個內部小元件所發出, 繼續拆解, 查看正反面, 檢查那裏發出聲音, 看來就是那個小馬達在做怪, 查了一些拍賣網站, 定時器要價 350 元, 由於目前只是聲音吵了些, 並不影響冰箱的正常功能, 先暫不處理






6. 終於告一段落, 很怕拆開中途發生什麼無法掌控的事件, 到時還要找人來修, 糗掉不說, 修理的費用也應該是挺嚇人的吧.

    　為防堵戀愛中男女所嫁（娶）非人，內政部特將現在很搶手的離婚證明書加上防偽功能。據了解，離婚證明書共有八項防偽功能，從圖案、紙質到油墨都暗藏玄機。

    　內政部表示，結婚制度已改為登記制，新人前往戶政機關登記時，就可以知道新娘、新郎登記前是否為單身。

    　據透露，八項防偽功能中，僅四項能公開，第一項是證明書的立體蔓草花邊框。第二項是離婚證明書的紙張設計，證明書對著光照，肉眼可看到梅花水印。第三項也是紙張設計，使用螢光燈照射，立刻出現顯性螢光絲。第四項是彩色油墨具漸層效果。

    　據了解，已離婚民眾均可到戶政事務所申請離婚證明書，不論中、英文版本每張工本費一百元。但戶政機關每張離婚證明書的印製費與人工處理費用成本為新台幣五十元，民眾每申請一張，國庫便進帳五十元。

    　依新修正的民法規定，結婚和離婚程序中，男女雙方必須親自到戶政事務所辦理，並完成戶籍謄本、身分證變更後，結婚或離婚程序才算完成；要索取證明書，必須另填寫申請書。

    　結婚、離婚證明書的格式由內政部統一設計電腦範本後，以密件送交各戶政事務所，戶政機關輸入申請人相關資料後，用電腦套印在專用證書紙張。

    　民政局表示，民眾只需提出戶籍謄本或身分證，即可履行婚姻制度所衍生的權利、義務，因此戶政單位並未特別提醒民眾一定要申請證明書。除非當事人不具本國身分，沒有戶籍謄本或身分證，則可申請證明書作為證明文件。

試用結果: 果然報表出來的速度很快, 一下子就看到報表囉!



2. 搜尋工具: 這個工具應該是要跟 Google 推出的客製化引擎打對台用, 之前在我的 BLOG 上弄了個 Google 的客製化搜尋引擎, 結果無法運作, 會導到 pixnet 首頁去, 使用 Y 牌的來試看看.



試用結果: 有幾個缺點要提出
A. 按精靈指示, 客製化的搜尋框寬度, 選了超窄版, 仍超出我右邊欄, 後來在搜尋管理工具->快速設定->標準搜尋框, 用它來產生了一個 160pixel 的方框.
B. 已選擇站內搜尋, 但搜出來的結果卻不是站內的.



3. 搜尋分析管理: 

需要驗證, 驗證有 2 種方式, 上傳金鑰到欲驗證的網站/將指定的中介標籤(meta tag)加入網站首頁的HTML中, 這 2 種方式據我目前所知, 我是沒法通過驗證, 所以這個也沒得玩了.

4. 廣告工具: 由於要每月 Pageview 要上百萬之流才能申請, 這個我就無緣去試了.
